He remembers every mean thing said to him and every undeserved smack, his heart withers a little more with every cruel thing done to him. He listens and is for the most part an almost docile seeming stallion, he will stand for hours if you ask him to but once you hurt him he is plotting, watching you with eyes that never miss a thing. He studies for your fears, for what causes you pain, the smallest hesitation around him.. He is not a cruel stallion, he thinks in the terms 'an eye for an eye' you smack him for a small misstep, he drops you for the smallest wrong cue during riding. You yank him too hard by the mouth with a pinching bridle on, later he'll accidentally turn his head too quick and smack you with his jaw. His pain is your pain. He is not dumb and knows what is intentional and what is accidental, he can tell it by how you act, the feelings you have. He knows your intentions better than you do and knows precisely how to get back at you. After years of being intentionally mishandled, Rakshasa has come to find that the more he fights back the crueler they are to him. He's become well-known in certain groups as a demon pretending to be a horse, he has become a bit sour because the only joys he has come to find are the moments of revenge that are soon followed by more pain. Is it no surprise then, that he's come to be handled with a muzzle on and hobbled if he's stalled? No more freedom to run, he stands in his stall all day and can only wonder what's the best way to get revenge? His docility is breaking and he's slowly being driven insane as he gets to watch nothing but horses and people walk by in the early morning and late evening. No window, no friends. Rakshasa is slowly being turned into a demon like his Namesake, now he craves more than revenge, he craves freedom.. |
